Dr. David Pulley

“Dr. Dave” earned his Bachelor’s in Psychology from Howard University in DC and obtained both his Master’s and Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Chestnut Hill College in Pennsylvania. His Doctorate degree included a concentration in Marriage and Family Therapy and a specialization in the subject of Soul Mates.
Dr. Dave’s decades of varied counseling experience has provided him with practical knowledge in helping with anxiety, personality issues, Leadership and Personal Development, anger management, blended family issues, impulse control and emotional immaturity amongst a much wider variety of conditions he has provided assistance with over the years.
Dr. Dave is classically trained in most widely accepted theories including, but not limited to: Psychodymanic/Psychoanalytic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focus Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). He is known for building a rapport through his approachable personality. He likes to use culturally relevant and personal examples as well as the interests of his clients to metaphorically connect. In addition, for those who are interested, Dr. Dave is a minister at his church and is able to integrate spiritual material with psychological material to enhance the overall therapeutic outcome using what he coined as the “4 pillars model.”
Socially, Dr. Dave enjoys movies, watching his championship eagles, watching and playing sports, video games, game nights, and outings that include good food, music and dancing. Dr. Dave likes to try new things to stay balanced himself. He loves to connect others and help them wherever they may need it using his knowledge, his awareness and skills to provide assistance for their psycho-emotional stressors.
