Dr. Jennifer Bissett
Dr. Bissett has trained at a wide variety of highly regarded institutions including Psychological Services at the University of Houston, the Pediatric Unit of MD Anderson Hospital, the Psychological Services Unit of the Houston Fire Department and the PIVOT Project. Dr. Michael Huttar
Dr. Huttar completed his Ph.D. at the University of North Dakota in 2023 with specializations in autism spectrum disorder treatment across the lifespan, couples therapy, and disability concerns. He has worked in a variety of clinical settings including medical and behavioral health centers, community mental health, speech therapy settings, public schools, and most recently at the UHCL Counseling and Mental Health Center. He has experience working with clients across the lifespan with issues related to autism, disabilities, ADHD, anxiety, depression, complex trauma, spiritual/existential concerns, and many other concerns.

Dr. Sharla Marek
Dr. Sharla Marek is a counseling psychologist who specializes in work with children, adolescents, and adults. Dr. Marek completed her PhD in Counseling Psychology in 2002 from the University of Houston.

Dr. Sherly Medina Rivera
Dr. Medina-Rivera works with children, parents, and/or caregivers, focusing on treating trauma or exposure to adverse experiences including but not limited to stress, anxiety, mood disorders, behavioral disorders, ADHD and life transitions. She completed her Master’s in Counseling Psychology at the Universidad Ana G. Méndez and earned her Master’s and Doctorate of Psychology in Clinical Psychology from the Universidad Albizu. The variety and diversity of Dr. Medina-Rivera’s experiences have allowed her to be mindful, sensitive, and flexible in adapting, integrating, and customizing intervention plans according to the individual needs of her patients.

Dr. Lela Pickett
Dr. Lela Pickett provides a collaborative, supportive therapeutic space for her clients. She has expertise in treating anxiety, depression, eating disorders, ADHD, and relationship concerns, with particular experience in identity development, multicultural issues, trauma work, and LGBTQ+ concerns. Her therapeutic approach is strengths-based and evidence-informed, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and interpersonal and mindfulness-based interventions. Dr. Pickett emphasizes emotional flexibility, self-understanding, and practical coping skills, helping clients develop tools they can use both in and outside of therapy.

Dr. David Pulley is a clinical psychotherapist with decades of counseling experience. His Doctorate degree is in Clinical Psychology with a concentration in Marriage and Family Therapy and a specialization in the subject of Soul Mates. Dr. Pulley enjoys building rapport and connections with clients to address a wide variety of conditions including anxiety, personality issues, adjustment, Leadership and Personal Development, and many other concerns for which he has provided assistance with over the years.

Dr. Shahbaz Siddiqui
Dr. Shahbaz Siddiqui has substantial training and experience in psychological assessments including a clinical expertise in evaluations for ADHD and autism spectrum disorders. He has worked with a diverse group of clients, ranging from children to seniors, offering personalized care tailored to each individual’s unique needs. Dr. Siddiqui also brings 22 years of experience in media psychology, providing him with unique insights into the intersection of psychology and media influences. In addition to English, he is fluent in Urdu, enabling him to connect with and support clients from diverse linguistic backgrounds.
