Dr. Sharla Marek
Dr. Sharla Marek is a counseling psychologist who specializes in work with children, adolescents, and adults. Dr. Marek completed her PhD in Counseling Psychology in 2002 from the University of Houston.
Dr. Sherly Medina Rivera
Dr. Medina-Rivera works with children, parents, and/or caregivers, focusing on treating trauma or exposure to adverse experiences including but not limited to stress, anxiety, mood disorders, behavioral disorders, ADHD and life transitions. She completed her Master’s in Counseling Psychology at the Universidad Ana G. Méndez and earned her Master’s and Doctorate of Psychology in Clinical Psychology from the Universidad Albizu. The variety and diversity of Dr. Medina-Rivera’s experiences have allowed her to be mindful, sensitive, and flexible in adapting, integrating, and customizing intervention plans according to the individual needs of her patients.
Dr. Lela Pickett
Dr. Lela Pickett strongly believes that the core of her work is cultivating a safe and collaborative space for her clients. She has expertise in trauma work, multicultural counseling, anxiety, depression, identity development, LGBTQ+, and relationships.
Dr. Shahbaz Siddiqui
Dr. Shahbaz Siddiqui has substantial training and experience in psychological assessments including a clinical expertise in evaluations for ADHD and autism spectrum disorders. He has worked with a diverse group of clients, ranging from children to seniors, offering personalized care tailored to each individual’s unique needs. Dr. Siddiqui also brings 22 years of experience in media psychology, providing him with unique insights into the intersection of psychology and media influences. In addition to English, he is fluent in Urdu, enabling him to connect with and support clients from diverse linguistic backgrounds.
